Equally isn’t it magical to see the flowers and trees spring back to life in a marathon of regeneration. At East Riding Aesthetics & Wellness regeneration is where we’re at – or at least regenerative medical aesthetics …
It’s often at this time of the year when we start to come out of our own hibernation and spend more time outside (please don’t forget your suncream everyday – it’s the biggest antiaging favour you can do for yourself)! If you’re feeling the need for a bit of an extra boost, we have some amazing hydrating options for you:
Biostimulators – Profhilo is our go-to for adding hydration and giving a little lift. Profhilo can be placed anywhere (face, neck, decolletage, knees, elbows) skin is perhaps a bit dull, crepey or dehydrated. It has a small collagen stimulating effect too.
Polynucleotides, working at a cellular level, polynucleotides work on specific cell receptors (adenosine if you are interested) to stimulate the body to produce growth factors and collagen. This can help improve skin texture, particularly we have seen some amazing results with this around the eye area. This is a longer game, we’re looking for the body to do it’s own work, so you don’t get the instant results we see with hyaluronic acid based products but if your prepared to be patient, polynucleotides are a fabulous option.
At the pinnacle of regenerative medicine are exosomes. Exosomes are able to work within the cells themselves to repair, and fuel at a fundamental level. Exosomes have been around a long time but their application within Aesthetic Medicine is just coming into it’s own. Again, we are working at a cellular level and therefore results come over time but for anyone with scarring, pigmented, dull or aging skin Exosomes are a fabulous option.
